Built in 1928, The Gallery on Washington is an upscale apartment complex that was uninhabitable when purchased in January of 2008. However, after nine months, an extensive rehab was completed, giving the apartment complex a distinctive charm. The building was completely gutted and now includes brand new plumbing, electric, and fixtures
The visionary for this project, Brian Hayden, has been recognized for several other renovation projects in the St. Louis and Alton areas. He changed floor plans, added the art deco theme, and went above and beyond to bring these buildings up to the potential and condition they deserve to be in. The building is adorned with various works of art created by artist Martha Hayden. Visit www.marthahayden.com to see more.
